Yoga as Union

As we enter the autumn and fall season of change we begin to feel the shift outwardly of the weather, colors, the wind ushering new beginnings. Inwardly we might feel the inclination to clean out or tidy up our homes, closets, computers, automobiles, boats, and more…

How about offering yourself the treat to tidy up your consciousness, tune inwardly into the UNION of yourself, fully integrate Yoga as Union of Body, Mind and Spirit.

In order to experience the union of yoga one must acknowledge the totality of life and the vastness referred to as the Macrocosm. In this macrocosm we observe the duality of life, the day to day activities and events that occur in space acknowledging that which is timeless, embracing the fullness and vast nature of existence. The recent fascination with explorers of space demonstrates how we long to connect with and explore the mystery of the Universe and the cosmos. Embracing the macrocosm and its multi dimensional vastness is a first step to understanding the whole of the Universe.

The practice of yoga as union provides the opportunity to explore the Microcosm of the self within the macrocosm to explore the great capacity within our own, minds, hearts and psyche to tune inward and to explore our own vast light. This practice teaches us to become the witness or the observer WITHIN to train the mind to follow our intuition, self direct, self study and self satisfy. Once we begin to explore within we can dive deep into recognizing and reconditioning behaviors that are reactive rather than proactive.

Understanding Duality as the double edge of the sword of human existence is here to remind us that we are here to experience all emotions . One realizes through duality that all sides contain within the opposite; to go up we must understand down, to be happy we must also experience sadness, to achieve success we must also fail, to be safe we must know fear, the lists is endless...

Every human individual is confronted with life’s issues, particularly emphasizing our personal triggers . The practices of Yoga, Movement, Mindfulness and Meditation guides us to acceptance and peace among and amidst the the full range of life and its experiences. When we recognize that we are the microcosm within the macrocosm and the ultimate joy is in

the journey of peace.
